- Account Data: Name, Email address (used as primary unique identifier), Password hash (for local login), and Phone number.
- Profile Data: Optional data provided by the user in the profile section, such as Category (e.g., GEN, OBC, SC/ST) and City/Location for educational analytics.
- Profile Picture: Users may upload an image, which is stored as a Base64 encoded string directly in our database (
profile_pic_urlfield). - Google Sign-in: If signing in via Google, we store your Google ID and the associated public email and name for seamless access to our educational resources.
1.2 Technical & Usage Data (Automatic Collection)
- IP Address: Your device's IP address (
last_ip_address) is logged upon login for security, fraud prevention, and regional analytics to improve our educational services. - Device Type: We log if you are using a mobile or desktop device to serve optimized educational content and testing interfaces.
- Session & Cookies: We use PHP Session mechanisms and cookies for secure login persistence and tracking your test progress within our educational platform.
2. Performance Data and Usage of Collected Information
The primary purpose of collecting data is to provide the core educational service: accurate examination and performance tracking for academic improvement.
2.1 Performance & Analytics Storage
- Test Results: We permanently store your scores, total questions, percentage, time taken for the overall test, and your individual answers and time spent per question for comprehensive educational analysis.
- Leaderboards & Ranks: Your score and time taken are used to calculate your rank and percentile against other users who took the same exam. Your username is displayed on the public Leaderboards on the results page to foster healthy academic competition.
- Personalized Feedback: Data is analyzed to provide you with insights into your weak areas, time management, and comparative performance against the topper and average student for targeted educational improvement.
2.2 Service Improvement & Communication
- Educational Platform Improvement: Aggregated, non-personal data helps us understand popular subjects and test difficulty levels to improve our educational offerings and curriculum design.
- Service Communication: Your email address may be used to send updates regarding your account, changes to the platform, or new test series relevant to your educational goals.
3. Data Storage, Permissions, and Security
3.1 Data Storage Location
All core user data (including personal identification and test results) is stored securely on our central database server. We rely on industry-standard security measures, including password hashing and secure data handling procedures, to protect your educational data.
3.2 Progressive Web App (PWA) Storage
Our educational Site utilizes a Progressive Web Application (PWA) model. If you choose to install the Quiz360 app, certain static resources (like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and icons) are cached locally on your device's storage via a Service Worker (pwa/sw.js) to enable fast, offline access to educational content. This local cache only stores non-sensitive public assets.
3.3 Permissions and Access
Access to your personal educational data is restricted to authorized administrative staff for the purpose of maintaining the platform and providing academic support. We do not sell, trade, or rent your individual Personal Identification Information to outside parties.
4. Google Ads Policy
Advertising on Quiz360
Quiz360 displays advertisements as part of the free service on its website and Android application. The website uses Google AdSense and the Android application uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Ad formats, frequency, and availability may differ by platform, region, and app version. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as IP address, device or browser identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, ad impressions and interactions, cookies, mobile advertising identifiers, and diagnostic information to deliver, measure, prevent fraud in, and improve advertising. The exact data processed depends on the device, SDK configuration, Google services, and the user’s privacy and advertising settings.
4.1 How Google Ads Work on Our Platform
- Contextual Advertising: Google AdSense automatically displays ads based on the content of our educational pages and user interests

- Approximate Location: IP-derived or otherwise approximate location may be used for regional advertising; Quiz360 does not state that it collects precise GPS location for advertising unless a feature separately requests it

Subject to applicable law and its commencement, users may have rights to request information about personal data, correction or erasure, withdrawal of consent, grievance redressal, and nomination. A request may be sent to legal@quiz360.in or through our Contact Us page. We may take reasonable steps to verify the requester’s identity before acting.
Consent and advertising choices: Where consent is required for cookies, advertising, or other processing, we will seek it through the applicable consent mechanism. For the Android app, Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) may present privacy messages and a privacy-options control where required by Google’s tools or applicable law.
